Super Solar Systems started life selling SOLAR GREEN – a system that used surplus solar energy to heat water on a sailing yacht. Supplying those taught us about yacht solar systems generally, so we gradually widened our product range to include most things a yacht owner needs for an on-board solar system, with an emphasis on innovation. That led us also to offer all kinds of solar system products suitable for many markets.
Main Markets Sector
Many solar energy products are useful in most but not all installations. Our aim here is to explain what is most appropriate to the differing needs of the various kinds of solar system. Each sector offers a selection of suitable kits as well as individual product suggestions.

We are own consumption specialists, not offering grid-connected solutions where surplus solar energy is sold to a utility.
Within “Own Consumption” there are 2 different categories:
- “Balcony” systems that plug directly into the mains system
- Conventional solar systems that supply electricity via a hybrid controller/inverter
