Super Solar Controller

3S SUPER SOLAR CONTROLLER is our proprietary TOTAL solar control system that turns electrical devices on and off according to the user defined parameters.

You set the minimum solar input and, optionally, the minimum battery voltage, and the unit turns on the connected devices when those conditions are met. It is in effect a smart fuse panel with ON/OFF triggered by user needs. The most obvious use for this is a water heater, but in a solar powered environment where there is no production at night and there are days when output is limited, being able to control what gets turned on and when is a powerful addition to any solar system optimising solar energy use.

How Does it Work?

Designed for use in conjunction with most hybrid solar controller/inverters, the 3S intelligent solar control panel is always connected for information to the solar input, optionally to the battery connection cables, and always to a mains output. It is therefore best installed close to the inverter. Put simply it is a fused smart switch.
It works by
  • measuring the output from your solar panels in Watts
  • optionally checking the battery voltage

If the solar output and,optionally, the battery voltage are greater than the set values, the controller switches on the device(s) connected to it.

There is a manual OFF/ON over-ride.

The Options

The 3S Super Solar Control Panel comes in 3 product versions:

  • 1 mains output
  • 2 mains outputs
  • 4 mains outputs

Remote control software for mobile devices is an option.

What's included

The product comes with connection cables to retrieve solar and battery charge levels, but not the mains connection cables.
