Power stations are of 2 very different kinds. The smaller ones provide a convenient source of power most notably for users on the move or afloat. There are however power stations of a 5Kw and greater capacity that can be connected to a domestic fuse panel as the source of mains energy. This needs a professional electrician. 

The units are charged from solar, generator, or mains. In a single compact mobile box they provide a solar controller, large capacity battery, and a sophisticated system that determines how to supply the necessary electricity.

Their main advantage is that installation costs are zero part from the mains connection, but they remain a very expensive alternative to Conventional Hybrid Inverter based systems or Plug & Play.

All the power stations that we offer can also perform a vital additional function – that of Uninterruptible Power Supply (“UPS”) providing an alternative supply should your mains system fail for any reason.
