Super Solar Systems owners live on a newly built 20 x 5m houseboat on the Loire river in France. We have 14 flexible solar panels of 375w each as a main solr system. Weight and a slightly curved roof meant that flexible were essential. Rigid panels are however much cheaper and a better choice if your roof permits.
Our secondary solar system mounted on a south facing flank has 4 x 450w rigid panels that charge our power station and a second domestic battery set.
We are 100% off-grid and reluctant to see the lights go out!
